Shannon Hunt Group is a multifaceted small company based in Auburn AL, founded by Tim Hunt, a hunter from the early age of 7 years old. He knew at a very young age that his passion would be in the outdoors. He was fortunate to grow up in a small quite town with plenty of land to roam with his father Charles to hone his hunting skills.

With a passion for the outdoors seeming to be from birth, Tim had a vision of a company that would develop and manufacture new and innovative hunting and fishing products to a industry close at heart. He also envisioned a company that can be trusted and could assist others from beginning to end with their ideas. ” There are a lot of great ideas that people have that are never seen or heard because there is not a company that people feel they can trust to share their ideas.” This is where SHG can help having several years of sales, marketing, patent knowledge, and distribution channels. SHG was born in 2009 and CEO Tim Hunt already has several patents to his credit on state of the art products as well as patent pending products to be introduced in 2011. ” We are very blessed to already have people coming to us with product’s that have great potential”.  And we plan on having a long career in a growing industry that we love.

Launching IllumAnight in 2009 on a nationwide level was a 16 year dream come true. To be associated with a stewardship conservationist like “Spook Spann” and to have him as a partner is a really great feeling.  If you spend anytime at all with ” Spook” you will recognize real quick he is not your typical hunter or show host. Spook is a trophy manager/ hunter and his accomplishments speak for themselves. It`s not just what he adds to an already very large trophy room that excites me about being part of his team.
